As Hurricane Matthew barrels up the coast, it is getting increasingly windy and rainy here in Greensboro, NC.  I usually sequester myself at home in front of the computer all day, editing images, but today I was on a mission!  A concept is forming in my mind for fall sessions, and right on its heels comes the concept for Christmas Petite sessions.  So off I went to an event I knew nothing about but read about on Facebook - The French Farmer's Wife monthly barn sale.  Located in a (you guessed it) barn behind what seems to be someone's home, this sale is nothing short of delicious eye candy for photographers, and lovers of all things vintage and shabby chic.

I guess this is the part where I should tell you that these people are horrible, and their prices are sky high, but I cannot tell a lie.  Everyone was delightfully friendly, helpful, and their wares are pleasingly affordable.  Now don't say I've never shared an awesome  secret with you, because there it is.  I can't wait to go back next month!
