After what seemed like an eternal summer in Greensboro that stretched well into November, it seemed that autumn arrived just in time for Heather and Patrick's wedding day. A cool drizzle settled over the city, and the leaves welcomed the opportunity to finally settle into their subdued colors of yellow, orange, and red. But as these two families prepared to unite, the mood was anything but subdued! While Patrick and his four adorable boys played a little football and got dressed, Heather spent her time getting ready with her beautiful daughter Carly.
You see, sometimes in life things just work out. Nice things happen to nice people. Watching Patrick and Heather parent these five precious children over the past two months leaves me with no doubt that their love will only grow stronger as they join their families in marriage. I feel so honored to have been trusted with capturing this amazing time in their life.
Heather, Patrick, Carly, Brooks, Henry, Pierson, and William - congratulations on this new chapter in your lives. May you always love each other as you have shown me, and may your adventures be many!
